April 24, 2009Nokia Push Email Client (Pop3, IMAP) – Official APP
Nokia Messaging makes mobile email easy and mobilizes consumer email across a range of Nokia devices. Nokia Messaging enables users to quickly set up, access, and use their email on their Nokia devices through a service that is optimized for mobile email.
The final release for the Xpress Music 5800 will be coming in May via the Nokia Messaging site. Before that, we’d love to hear if you encounter any issues, or if there are ways in which you would like us to improve the S60 5.0 client.
How to Setup:
- Nokia Messaging is ‘activated’ in a handful of countries, but ‘inactivated’ in others.
- This can affect the experience you have with Nokia Messaging, but doesn’t affect your ability to use Nokia Messaging.
- To get things started right, you’ll need to first go to the http://email.nokia.com/ website, and setup an account.
- Here, you can add up to 10 different email accounts, either from web services like Gmail or Yahoo, or your own account, such as from your ISP.
- Once you have all of your email accounts setup online, you can proceed to setting up the client on your phone.
