SMART TOUCH updated, Remote Control to use your PC/Laptop via Nokia 5800

SMART TOUCH v0.4.1 (Remote Control for your PC via Nokia 5800)

A new application for S60 5th Edition which allows you to control your PC via bluetooth. All you need is a 5800 XpressMusic and bluetooth enabled computer/laptop. The software is absolutely freeware.

Step 1) First of you need to install Phython 1.9.5 on your phone memory.

Step 2) Then you need to install Phythonscriptshell 1.9.5 highcapacity on your phone memory

Step 3) Than install the Smarttouch_0.4.1.sis on your phone memory as well.

Step 4) Once you done that, switch off your phone & switch on again

Step 5) Enable Bluetooth on both your devices (Mobile & PC/Laptop)

Step 6) Run the server (SmartTouch.exe) on your computer and the SmartTouch software on your 5800.

Step 7) Now, on your 5800, ”Search device” and select your computer from the discovered devices, and SET as Default

The application is really easy to use. Basically you have three options only.

* The media-remote, which can be managed by any player on your computer.
- (The available buttons are: “play / pause”, “next”, “prev”, “mute” and volume buttons.)

* The ARROW keys Remote, Up, Down,Left, Right, Esc and Enter can be used to control many applications on PC including games.

* The Mouse Remote, phone can be used as a mouse by using the touchscreen

Everything works fine bedside of the ”touchpad”. Selecting files is quite hard. Maybe it can be improved in further versions.

Anyhow, On my XP NETbook and my 5800 everything worked fine, so did on the below seen video….
